Welcome to the 4th edition of the international badminton tournament by ABC Frankfurt e.V.
We are a very diverse group with members from all over the world: Germany, China, India, Vietnam, France, Croatia and many many more!
We are organizing this tournament to bring together badminton enthusiasts from all different places to compete and have fun in a two-day tournament. Come and join us!
Disciplines
There will be 5 disciplines in our ABC Open Tournament:
- Women’s Singles
- Men’s Singles
- Women’s Doubles
- Men’s Doubles
- Mixed Doubles
You want to join but you do not have a partner for doubles or mixed doubles yet? No problem! Indicate it in the registration form and we will do our best to match you with someone for the tournament. We will inform you about the pairing as soon as possible and the latest one week before the tournament.
TIME AND DATE
Saturday 13.06.2026 from 09:00 XD, from 13:30 WS / MS
Sunday 14.06.2026 from 09:00 MD and from 12:00 WD
Final matches will be played on the respective match day.

SHUTTLECOCKS
All DBV-approved natural shuttlecocks, which have to be provided by yourself. You can purchase them also on site.
ENTRY FEE
10€ per discipline and person, to be paid at the start of the tournament.
Who can join?
Everyone is welcome join our tournament! We have four groups based on playing strength:
- A : Rangliste C Recommended: Verbandsliga of the HBV to Bundesliga. Open for all.
- B: Verbandsliga + Bezirksoberliga of the HBV
- C: Bezirksliga-A + Bezirksoberliga-B of the HBV
- Hobby: Amateurs and Bezirskliga C of the HBV
As well as all corresponding classes of the same playing strength in each group.
For team players in the league (Bezirksliga C to Bundesliga): When registering, the 2025/2026 season is decisive and here the highest regularly (2 games or more in the second round) played division, not the one registered before the season. In doubles and mixed the registration is based on the higher playing partner. We reserve the right to check and adjust the registration. Youths according to strength of play.

Tournament Mode
Group A: Double KO System with 2 winning sets up to
21 points and extension up to 30.
Other Groups: Group matches with 2 winning sets up
to 21 points and extension up to 30, from the main
draw onwards simple knockout system. We aim for at
least three games per participant. We reserve the right
to make changes depending on the number of
participants.

We have cash and attractive gift prizes with a total value of over 2000€!
Cash prizes and certificates for the first place winners in each discipline and class.
Gift prizes and certificates for the runners-up and third place in each discipline and class.
Catering
We will arrange a large selection of tasty food and beverages that you can purchase for a fair price!
Our international members are going to bring specialties from their country for you, your familiy, friends and fans to enjoy and to refill your energy after a tough badminton match.
